Many of you have probably noticed that the quality of content and posting frequency has declined dramatically over the last few months.  The breach of privacy that I told you about a couple of weeks ago has really caused me to step back and reevaluate the purpose and direction of this space.

I started the blog back in 2009 as we were just starting our adoption journey and I wanted to keep our friends and family up to date, as well as connect with other adoptive families. The Lord blessed us with our Moriah in January of 2011 through a blog friend and then our Kharis was born in April of 2013 through another blog friend – this space has been an integral part in growing our family. But, as the blog has grown our anonymity has been lost.

Over the last few months I’ve been praying for the Lord’s will for this space and I firmly believe that He has a purpose. I feel like I’ve gotten away from His intended purpose here for a while and have been wanting to pull the reigns back in. But, I know I can’t do it on my own, so I’ve decided to make STC a contributor blog.

I truly want this to be a place where Christian women and families can come for encouragement, biblical wisdom, family friendly resources, and more. I don’t want this to be about me, I want this to be about Him, and my goal is that each of you would be blessed by this, also.

In April I, along with a handful of other Godly women, will be bringing you fresh, new content.  We’ll be talking about the topics you’re used to seeing here, as well as some new ones including:
We’re excited to see what the Lord does with this space and hope that you’re blessed by it!
