I'd love to introduce you to Pat of Cross My Heart Handbags and More. Pat was in my footer ad all last month and it's been a joy to pray for and with her, as well as promote her shop! I asked her to share a little bit about herself and her shop, today. I pray that you're as blessed by her as I have been.
My business was created after my husband went into remission from amyloidosis after two years of being deathly ill. At that time I was working 60 or more hours a week in accounting and taking my husband to doctors, chemo treatments, emergency rooms, hospital stays, etc. It was a very stressful time. Needless to say, when he went into remission, I fell apart. I have always believed in God, but was never close to Him.
My family has been my blessing and they have helped me so much! God has given me the best children any one could want, even though their childhood was awful, as I stayed with an abusive man (ex-husband) for 24 years.
One day on my way home from Gateway, I felt a small stirring of God’s voice to use my gift of sewing for His glory! Right then and there about a dozen white birds flew directly in front of my window. And then other ideas and sayings kept popping in my mind for no reason. For that reason, I feel this is what I’m destined to do.
My dream is to be successful so I can start supporting abused women and their children. This is my desire; that every person that sees one of my bags on someone’s arm, thinks about Jesus, if only for a moment. I have a passion to express the love of Jesus thru my handmade bags.
Every girl needs that bag – the one that holds all of the necessities of day to day life. Cross Your Heart Handbags are that and so much more!
With an emphasis on a love for Christ, my bags are not only practical, but stylish and handcrafted according to your specific tastes. Custom designs are available for any theme, sport, pet or hobby you can think of.
