Today I’d love to introduce you to Brooke of Designing Life and offer a little giveaway, too!  Not only is Brooke one of this month’s sponsors, but she works with me at Fancy Little Things, too!  So today’s post and giveaway is extra special!

Designing Life – Who am I?
I am married to a guy in the Navy and the mother of one sweet little boy who is four years old. In college, I went to school for my undergrad in Art in Interior Design and then I went back again to study Religion and Discipleship. I love design. I love to organize, to plan, and to create. I just love coming up with new ideas for people’s houses and, through Etsy, I love to come up with printable PDF files to help other people to organize, plan, and decorate! My second degree allows me to dig a little deeper. Interior Design is a very empty field without Christ. I don’t just want to help people organize or make their houses pretty; my heart desires that their hearts and homes are filled with love, God’s love.
Designing Life – Etsy Shop
My Designing Life Etsy Shop was born out of the desire to continue designing while staying at home with my little man. I developed the idea to provide custom Interior Design PDF presentations to online clients and decided to call this “E-Designs.” After all, I am an interior designer. In addition to providing custom E-designs, I also carry an array of printables for the home. If I don’t have what you need, make a custom order and I’ll design it just for you!
What do I create?
When my husband and I moved to Italy last year, I was distraught every time I thought about my Etsy business. I wouldn’t be able to ship physical items to people due to my location. I had already been doing E-Designs (custom home designs all done online), but I also began to realize that many people that I wanted to reach out to with design and my décor expertise weren’t able to benefit from my services. You can’t decorate or create a design for a home that is never organized or put together. I wanted to offer a product that would help mothers, wives, and other ladies to get organized and begin to set up systems that would benefit their lives. Thus I began to make printables (printable PDF files). My first printable was the Kitchen Cleaning Printable.
My Favorites

I use this day planner all the time. I created the small sized planner so that I could carry it around with me wherever I go. I have my calendar, my to do list, my grocery list, and all sorts of other helpful sheets all in one place. This one is definitely top on my list.

I love this printable because it’s fun to use, but it really helps to use it. It’s a to do list that makes planning easy. This one’s a keeper.

The schedule was originally designed for my son. Being an artist type, I was a little here and there with his schedule. Flighty works for me, but with a (then) two year old I needed something solid with which to work. Having a written out schedule that had pictures that he could understand was great for him. He knew when to go to the potty, when to get dressed, and sometimes, he was the one telling Mommy how things were supposed to be. A toddler schedule has been a great training tool for our son!

Thanks for sharing your heart and shop with us today, Brooke!  I’ve enjoyed having you on the blog this month!
